What is magic? How do we see it everyday?
What are dreams? Are they always in our minds?
Do we use them as a portal to drive us to our wildest desires?
Our greatest fears?
How do magic and dreams shape our future?
Merchants of Reality is sending out an open call for all artists who wish to explore the realm of the unseen. To delve into our dreams and meet each other where our subconscious minds intersect.
We invite you to submit anything that relates to your ideas of magic, dreams, and fortune. Any and all interpretations of these topics are welcome. Come create a portal with us and venture through the unexpected dimensions of the Mind/Universe.
What awaits for you at the end of this portal is an answer to your unanswered questions.
Bring your creations to Merchants of Reality and become a part of our larger than life shrine dedicated to the world that lies behind the curtains of everyday existence.
The event will be free and open to the public, see you then!
Merchants of Reality welcome you to a gourmet dinner by DAISY for a five to ten dollar donation, and we hope you stay for great conversations with new/old friends, and a FREE movie!
This is going to be my big send off meal, I will be filming the cooking process for my kickstarter and i will be serving a SUPER DELICIOUS meal to you followed by a really fun movie. After this im going down to southern California for a few weeks. So please come, eat some food (that i promise you will love) and give me a hug because i’m going to miss the hell out of you!
And since this falls on an Odd Tuesday i will be collaborating with bem to have some conversations about dreams, consciousness and plenty of other 2012 ish!
There will be vegan, gluten free AND omnivorous options so everyone can have a fun-tastic tasty evening. Then feel free to bring a pillow or blanket (or use one of ours) to cozy up on the gallery floor and watch a theater sized projected movie.
The movie of the evening: K-PAX (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfcbshzkvUs), kevin spacey and jeff bridges, vintage 2001, i hear it’s a good one.
A night to remember, good food, drinks, entertainment and friends. I wanna see you there!!! (and please, no outside alcohol)
Thanks lovelies i’ll be seeing you soon :) ♥ Daisy
***I’ve invited a good handful of people but only have kitchen capacity to cook for about 30, so the meal will be first come first served. If you’re hungry the earlier the better!
