Dear Internet Realm,

Hello, my name is Daisy. I have many passions in this life but my biggest is cooking. I, like many others, spent the majority of my life living off of fast food, junk food, and lots of other things that basically have no business being called “food”. These things often left me feeling sluggish, fatigued and foggy in my own mind. In the past few years, thanks to help from a dear friend, i have committed myself to learning how to change my relationship to what i eat as well as teaching others that they can do the same. I now try to challenge myself, how can i make what i like to eat better then any restaurant could? Turns out it’s easy AND fun!

I am currently prepping and priming myself for the coming spring. I would like to hold cooking classes in order to make cooking more accessible to everyone, more dinner and movie nights, and continuing my long time partnership with San Francisco Food Not Bombs (http://sffnb.org/) where we cook and serve amazingly tasty vegan fare every Thursday 7pm on the corner of 16th and Mission. 

I am deeply encouraged by the way 2012 is shaping up and i look forward to the healthy, tasty, life sustaining food that this year will bring! Hopefully you will join me and realize that food is not just something to get you through the day, but is your life force and your art!
